The construction of buildings in coastal areas, either into or in the sea itself, has been broadly discussed by the residents of these areas for some time.

As a band with a lovely setting, often becomes a conflict zone, as those who live there want to protect the landscape as it is, while companies want to bring more people to these attractive places. This letter from a neighbor Concón sector raises the concern, appeared on Saturday April 30 in El Mercurio de Valparaíso .

aberrations still in Concón. We just heard that they have entered the Works Department a blueprint for a building on the dunes, but this time at the roadside Concón-Reñaca, off Santa Isabel supermarket, just where children glide tables for years, flagship sector what is left of the dunes.
thought that this sector was included in the Nature Sanctuary reduced, but not, and I guess my ignorance is shared by many conconinos. It would be nice once and for all there is clarity of what the protected sector, not to bring these unpleasant surprises. What happens is that, apparently, finally Concón will have Communal Regulatory Plan (PRC), after 14 years of independence. This encourages entrepreneurs to enter pre-real estate now for them to respect the conditions, current constructability and certainly not the most restrictive in the future PRC. All legal subterfuge to continue destroying the dunes and low natural heritage left for Concón.

ask the mayor, Jorge Valdovinos, the Council and the Director of Works to freeze any possibility of building construction permit until it is approved the PRC.
